Mother to 8, Step-Mother to 7, Grandmother to 17 and counting.
As a teenager, I imagined my future self with 12 children. As of mother of 4, I said 8 will be just right. After 8 and a divorce I was sure that was it, especially since the grandchildren were beginning to comeinto my life. After seven years of dating off and on, I finally found a man I loved with whom I couldrelate; that was Lee with his 7. Now we are complete, except for the many grandchildren we expect towelcome in the future.
Believe it or not, I am not crafty and dislike cooking, and anything that needs to be done every day. Myinterests are learning, research, natural healing, psychology, genealogy, relationships, organizing familyactivities (except the food), and anything else that has lasting and long-term significance.
My greatest challenges are MY FAMILY! My greatest joys are MY FAMILY!
Lee takes very seriously his role as a protector and provider for his family. “Lee’s House is a SAFE House” became his new personal motto after a painful divorce where the entire family (with 7 children) experienced great trauma. Soon after, he met and married Kathy. Now he added her and her 8 children to his safe haven to be responsible for.
Lee highly values honesty, education and hard work. He is many times thought fanatical about safety issues and integrity. He is constantly on the alert to warn his family of any threat, be it the latest scams and computer viruses to hazards to health and well-being.
His life-long interests include computer technology, listening to music (his library is immense since he would NEVER consciously violate a copyright), photography (mostly of his family & nature), photo preservation& video production (he tries to stay on top of the latest technologies), and family history. He worked at INTEL for near 25 years. After a couple of other job changes, he finally landed his dream job at FAMILY SEARCH. Now he supports genealogy and family history for work, for service and for pleasure.
